In Explicable Joy!

It's 2:30 in the morning.  I am sitting in a hotel bathroom preparing a bottle for my six-month-old (he slept well in the car so now he's awake and hungry :-).  My husband has a fever and is exhausted and miserable.  I should be frustrated or upset, but instead I'm almost giddy with this inexplicable joy!  Well... that's not entirely true. My joy has an explanation... God has given me the ability to SEE: to look beyond my circumstances and to treasure the gifts He is giving me right now. While I don't cherish my loved ones being sick, I am so thankful for the privilege of taking care of them.  I am so thankful for these precious ones entrusted to my care (including my husband!).   Thank You, God for opening my eyes to these wonderful gifts!
