We started our Christmas extravaganza at my folks' house. The kids played with the puppies, ate cookies, and Ethan played Wii. I enjoyed my share of Puffed Rice Balls... well, maybe more than my share (I haven't had them in years so it was really a treat. Plus Jim doesn't like them, so all the more for me ;-) Here are a couple of shots of the kids with the puppies and some in their Christmas pj's:
Then came Christmas morning... well, it was actually the day before Christmas, but we celebrated a day early so the kids would have more time to play with their presents at Noni and Papa's.
Let's just say Princess Verity enjoyed her Cinderella shoes and dress. She was so funny with them!
Papa Claus
Papa's Revenge (check out all the tape... my mom is notorious for putting so much tape on boxes that we can barely open them ;-)
We spent the morning in pj's and then enjoyed a wonderful meal that my mom made.
Literally seconds after this picture was taken, Micah threw up... yeah, good memories. Poor kid was sick for a couple of days, but he got over it eventually. God bless my mom for cleaning up the mess and my dad for offering to watch him that evening so we could go to church.
The next morning, we got up and opened stockings...
... and then headed over to Jim's dad's (which I will continue in the next post). We had a great time with Papa and Noni!
