So the next stop was Jim's dad's house. We got there in the afternoon, and and kids opened up some more presents!
One of the presents Verity got was a princess bubble bath set. Here she is that night after her bath, with the clippies in her hair :-)
After Christmas, we got a decent covering of snow. The kids were super-excited to play in it... mommy and daddy were less thrilled (it was VERY windy and cold). But we went out that afternoon and had a great time. Here is Verity getting ready to go:
God bless Dad who made the runs for the kids and pushed everyone down the hill! Here is a shot of Ethan having a blast and Micah REALLY not liking the snow blowing in his face:
Verity hesitated a little at first...
...but had no problems going with her daddy! Eventually, she went by herself.
Micah didn't want to go down and almost came inside before changing his mind. Here is at the top and bottom of the run:
Ryan and Chris were there, too, with Leah. Here she is with her daddy. We really enjoyed getting some time with these three :-)!
After the snow, Ethan enjoyed some cookies and hot cocoa...
...while Dad and Micah watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...
...and Ryan, Chris, and Jim started practicing for Rosemary's upcoming wedding!
We had a really nice time with Dad and Debbie (sorry Debbie- I don't have any pictures of you from Christmas). We were so thankful for their hospitality and for the time we got to spend with them!
