Ethan and I had the chance to go camping with some other fathers and sons from church last weekend. We went to a place called Blue Rocks Campground. Its name comes from a half-mile stretch of boulders deposited by a glacier. It was Ethan’s first time camping, and he loved it! He got to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. He got to slide down dirt hillsides and stomp in streams. He got to climb big rocks and play with lots of friends. Getting him to sleep was a little difficult! Ethan has thanked me for going camping every day since we got home! Needless to say, he really enjoyed it. He asked Amber yesterday if he and Daddy were going to go camping again this Friday night!

How cute! My boys love camping too. Rocks, dirt, water, mud, smores. What more could a boy ask for?!?!
