LONGER VERSION (generally for the gals):
On August 30, 2007 at 4:32 pm, Micah David Kolmus was born! Amber started having regular contractions around 4:00 am. When 7:00 came, we decided to call the doctor. She recommended that we come into the office just to have the situation checked. We were at the doctor's from about 8:30 to 10:00. At that point, the doctor felt it was time to go to the hospital. So, we swung by home to say goodbye to Ethan and Amber's sister, Kristina, and off to the hospital we went. Upon arrival we had to go to OB Triage; there they figure out if you're really in labor or not. Well, there was no question at that point! So, at 11:30 we were in our room. Five hours later, Micah was born!
Amber did fantastic! The baby was able to be born without a c-section, and he was a very healthy boy. Praise God!! He is a little jaundiced, but it seems to be going away without treatment. Thank you all for your prayers and your care!

YEAH!!! I am so excited/happy/proud that you were able to have a VBAC and that everything went so smoothly! WOW! Your labor went faster then any of mine have! We are so excited to have another nephew/cousin. He looks so much like Ethan as a baby, yet has his own look too.
