Verity's First Hair Cut

Today, Verity got her very first haircut.  Her hair was starting to look a little straggly, and needed to be evened out.  Since I've never cut girls' hair, I was a little nervous to do it myself on the first one.  So we went to Great Clips (with a coupon, of course), and she got her hair cut.  Here she is before...

We went on a scout night so it was just Verity, Micah, and me.   What did I do with Micah you might ask?  I stuck him in a stroller and gave him a lollipop!  He didn't mind too much :o)

Here are a couple more pics of her while she was getting her hair cut.  She was SOOO good.  She stayed really still and didn't cry at all (unlike some other kids of mine ;-).  She even let the lady blow-dry her hair!  I think she enjoyed being pampered!  She is a princess after all :o)
