Micah's First Birthday- Part One

Yesterday was Micah's first birthday. We tried to gear the day around the kids as much as we could for everyone's benefit. We went to a park in the morning that had a playground and a train (named George) that you could ride. I'm not sure Micah knew what was going on when we were riding the train, and I don't think the sand was a big hit, but he definitely had a good time on the swings.

Here is Micah on the swings being pushed by his big bro:

Here we are on George the Train:

After the park, we went to the library to check out some books and movies, and then we were off to Chick-Fil-A (for those of you who don't know- it's a fast-food chain that specializes in chicken sandwiches. However, the most important feature of the restaurant is that it usually has an inside playground, which is great when you live in humid South Carolina). After the boys had their fill of playing, we went home for nap time/quiet time. It was a great way to spend the morning! Happy Birthday, Micah!
