So, at 2:47pm yesterday, Verity Ruth Kolmus was born. She weighed 8.0 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. She has dark hair! Amber was able to have a successful VBAC again. There was a point in the process where it seemed like the VBAC may not work, but she was able to push through it. She did great! Here's a picture of the entire family last night and a few from this morning:
Amber's mom had made a flight reservation about a month ago to be here to help. The flight was to arrive at 1:54pm on February the 4th! So, her mom was at the hospital just before Verity was born. She was able to see her about 15 minutes after she was born!
So we thank God for a safe delivery and a healthy mother and daughter. Please pray for us as we leave "man-on-man" and enter "zone" defense. We're looking forward to God's plan for our family.

Yeah! We are so happy to hear everything went well and your little girt is finally with you. Did the boys have blonde hair or dark when they were born? or might Verity have Mommy's hair color? She's beautiful.

I was so excited to hear about Verity! Yeah! Congratulations and I'll have to echo my hubby's comments :) What a special spot she'll have in your family :) How neat to have a daughter to train up, Amber. (We did share last night at care group - what a fun announcement that was!) Love you guys!
