The trip home involved a few stops of its own. First, we were able to visit Jim's grandparents out in Elizabethtown.
From there it was back to Papa and Noni's to spend the night, go to church, and enjoy a yummy meal afterward.
As we never seem to do anything the easy way, we rented a truck to carry back some furniture from my parents' house. So, I took the van with the kids and Jim took the truck with the furniture. We spend the night in Salem, VA, to break the trip up, so it wasn't too overwhelming!

Overall, it was a great Christmas season that we were able to enjoy with many family and friends. God has truly blessed us with so many people who love and care for one another.
