Jim's involvement with Cub Scouts has led to some fun outings, but it's not too often we get to attend them with him. But, through a few people not being able to attend, Micah, Verity, and I were able to go with the scouts to see the Greenville Growl. The Growl are the local hockey team. It was fun to be out with the other families.
The best part of the game, though, was that the Growl scored 5 goals. That meant that each of our hockey tickets was good for one free hamburger at Sonics!! Whoo hoo!!
Micah didn't quite make it through the 3rd period, though.
It actually was a pretty nice time. We weren't sure how much the kids would care, but overall it was a very pleasant time out.
