I got the idea from a book to use a balloon as a "paintbrush," so I thought that I would try it with Ethan. He had a blast, and (amazingly enough) the mess was well contained. To paint, Ethan bounced the balloon in the paint and then bounced it on the gift bag. I can't say the effect is the most beautiful thing in the world (unless you're a big Miro fan), but it was a lot of fun for him to make.

How fun! I will have to try that with my boys. Have you ever tried hot wheels painting or bubble painting? Those are my boys favorite!
