Camping, take two. ...and a trip to the Orchard

Well, Ethan continued to thank us for camping all through the week last week, so we went again last Friday night. This time we spent the big bucks and stayed in my dad’s backyard! Honestly, it’s beautiful there. We were able to roast hot dogs and make s’mores. We got to sing some songs too! It was a great time. Ethan and I stayed in the tent. Amber and Micah were able to stay in the house. It worked out great!

The next day we went over to Weaver Orchards. We picked out our pumpkins, tasted some apples, drank some cider, and enjoyed some fudge! Ethan also enjoyed some mediocre bluegrass music with his new friend (he makes friends everywhere he goes!).

Mediocre is probably too kind of a word :-) Thanks, Jim, for all of your hard work to make memories for Ethan! He really does love his time with Daddy.

P.S. The pictures look amazing!!!

How fun that you camped in your Dad's backyard, Jim! It looks like Ethan really enjoyed himself!
And Amber, I like you camping method. All the fun stuff of camping, yet the comforts of a nice, comfy, warm bed!
