Last night we received a call from Jim's dad that Caleb Ryan Kolmus had passed away. We don't know the particulars, but we know that he did not make it to surgery.
Please pray for Ryan and Chris as they grieve for their son. I know that a lot of you have been praying. Thank you for your continued prayers.
As I was praying for them this morning, I was reminded of Isaiah 26:3-4, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock." The only way we can have peace is if our hope is in the Lord. God is good, He is over all things, and He gives the grace we need to honor Him through every circumstance. It is my prayer that Ryan and Chris would stay their minds on the everlasting Rock, and that He would give them the peace that passes all understanding.

Please send Ryan and Chris our sad condolences, they will continue to be in our prayers with everything. But, AMEN to the passage you found in Isaiah and the comfort you were able to find in it,...I pray that Ryan and Chis, as well as the rest of the family would be granted that same peace and comfort.
We were so sorry to read this news. Thank you for keeping us all updated. Praying for a peace that goes far beyond what they can comprehend in this situation...
