We learned this afternoon that the doctors discovered that Leah has a heart murmur. It is apparently serious enough to warrant surgery. Since she is stable they will be able to fly her to John Hopkins for surgery. Please pray. We'll add an update when we hear more.
Also pray for us as we travel for the funeral for Caleb. Due to a bunch of details that I won't go into, Amber and Verity will be flying into Philly tomorrow afternoon while the boys and I will head out early in the minivan. I'll be dropping the boys off with Amber's folks in Gettysburg and then heading to PHL to get Amber and Verity! Please pray for safety for all of us as we travel.
The funeral for Caleb will be outside of Baltimore on Saturday, and he will be buried near my mom up near Philly. Please pray for the family as we enter a tough weekend. Pray that our words would be grace-filled, full of encouragement, and continually point toward the hope we have in the good God we serve. Thanks.

We'll be praying for you guys... especially that God would use your words and these circumstances to reveal himself afresh to your family. Also, enjoy the ride with your boys and that opportunity to speak into their lives.
We have your family on several church's prayer chains in both PA, Maryland, and California. We pray for the grace, mercy and peace that only comes from Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the 'Ultimate Healing' for everyone concerned.
You can add New Jersey to the list of people and churches praying for the family. I am glad everything has gone smooth enough getting to and from places... we will continue to pray for you guys regarding traveling, Leah, and Ryan and Chris...we love you all! God bless!
