Last Saturday, we got to go to Carowinds, a Paramount theme park on the North Carolina/South Carolina border. GE had some special deal going so we got admission to the park, bottomless soda bands, and "lunch" (lunch was served at 3:30 p.m.) for $15/person (Micah was free). So we went and we had a nice time.The weather was PERFECT- it was overcast and rained a bit, which is very welcome weather for an otherwise hot and humid Carolina summer. Micah did not get to go on many rides, but he was able to have fun in the waterpark. Ethan was able to ride quite a few rides, including a little rollercoaster! We had a nice time and were very thankful that we did not have to pay full price- it would not be worth it with little ones. We were also thankful for our soda wristbands that kept us hydrated. And you'll never guess where I stuck Keith's surprise notes for the Worship Conference :) hint... I copied you from last men's retreat! Can't wait to hear about it... too bad they're not sharing a room this time.
You guys look like you had a blast! The boys (jim included) looked like they expended some energy.
I loved seeing the pics - what a fun time! We all missed you at the conference, but enjoyed having Jim back with us for a few days...hope you had a good time with the kids while he was away!
